Enlighten Me Named Finalist for The Entourage 2025 Milestone Award

We're proud to share that Enlighten Me has been named a finalist for The Entourage 2025 Milestone Award - a recognition of founders and businesses achieving defining moments in their growth and impact.

For us, this milestone represents more than business success. It marks the story of innovation, collaboration and the courage to do things just that little bit differently. 

A Year of Transformation

Over the past 12 months, Enlighten Me has grown from a digital, doctor-led weight management program into a nationally recognised health brand.

In August 2024, we launched the Enlighten Me Shake – a formulation created to support patients taking GLP-1 medications who were struggling with appetite, nausea, and nutritional balance. Designed by a GP, the shake was built with patient health in mind: high in protein, low in carbohydrates, certified FODMAP Friendly, and free from the artificial fillers and sweeteners that dominate the market.

What began as a clinical solution for our patients quickly grew beyond the program. Within months, the shakes sold out online and are now stocked nationally across pharmacies, medical centres, dietitian and menopause clinics, and gyms.

During this time, we received national recognition for innovation and patient-centred care, including:

Mentorship and Mindset

Behind this growth lies a shift in mindset. When our founder, Dr Angela Kwong, reached out for mentorship from Jack Delosa and Andrew Morello, she stepped from the world of independent clinical work into one built on collaboration, leadership and community.

As a GP, Angela was trained to diagnose, problem-solve, and shoulder responsibility. But building a business required a new kind of learning – one that relied on trust, structure and shared knowledge.

Through the guidance of Jack and Morello, Angela was encouraged to think differently, to bring structure to her vision, and to create impact through education – not just for patients, but for practitioners, partners, and peers.

That mentorship reshaped who we are today. It’s why education and transparency now sit at the centre of everything we do – from how we communicate with patients to how we collaborate with our stockists and professional partners.
