Enlighten Me Named Finalist at the Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards 2025

We are honoured to share that Enlighten Me has been named a Finalist for Best Online Business in the Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards 2025.

Chosen from more than 3,500 entries nationwide, this recognition celebrates the innovation, hard work and entrepreneurial spirit of women leading small businesses across Australia.

According to the official media release from Precedent Productions, the Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards is “the only national program of its kind to recognise achievements and honour women in small business across 65 industry categories.”

Steve Loe, Managing Director of Precedent Productions - who created and presents the awards - shared,

This program is a celebration of women in small business, aiming to highlight the remarkable achievements of female leaders, and the invaluable contribution they make to the Australian way of life.

He went on to say,

As we continuously seek to highlight the best of Australia’s women entrepreneurs, I am once again in awe of the ingenuity, creativity and contributions delivered by countless industry trailblazers and community leaders women represent. This year’s celebrations promise to be our biggest year yet for women in small business.

For us at Enlighten Me, this moment is deeply meaningful. We are proud to represent Chatswood (NSW) and the broader digital health and ecommerce community at this national event in November - an occasion that recognises the collective effort and commitment behind every milestone.

Our Purpose and Journey

Enlighten Me was founded with a simple but powerful mission: to empower individuals to take control of their weight in a sustainable, evidence-based way.

From day one, we’ve aimed to shift the focus from restriction to nourishment - breaking down weight stigma and creating an environment where people can make lasting, positive changes to their health.

Our growth since launch has been both humbling and inspiring. Today, our FODMAP friendly meal replacement shakes are available through a growing network of gyms, pharmacies, GP clinics and dietitian practices, helping to make doctor-designed, evidence-based nutrition more accessible in the community.

We are proud that the Enlighten Me Shakes are recommended by health professionals as a clean, high protein and balanced nutritional solution - crafted to support both physical wellbeing and gut health.

Teamwork and Innovation at Our Core

Behind Enlighten Me is a multidisciplinary team - a group of General Practitioners with a specific interest in weight management, an Exercise Physiologist, Nutritionist and support staff. This ongoing collaboration shapes every product we develop and every service we deliver.

Innovation has been integral to our journey. We continue to stay at the forefront of medical and nutritional research, listening closely to our customers and healthcare partners, and constantly refining what we do to serve our community better.

Our approach to innovation remains guided by three key principles:

  • Quality: Every ingredient and interaction matters.
  • Evidence: Science and clinical integrity underpin every decision.
  • Continuous Improvement: We listen, learn and evolve - together.

A Moment to Celebrate Women in Business

This finalist recognition is a celebration not just of our work, but of every woman in small business who brings vision, courage and resilience to her community.

We are incredibly proud to stand among so many remarkable women making a difference across Australia - and we look forward to celebrating together at the awards night in November.

Thank you to our team, our community and every person who has supported our mission. We couldn’t have achieved this without you.

Here’s to empowering others, innovating with purpose, and creating positive change - one shake, one story, one person at a time.
