Our Single-Serve Shake Sachets Have Arrived

Our Single-Serve Shake Sachets Have Arrived

You've read about our shake. Maybe a friend mentioned it, or you found us while looking for something your stomach could actually tolerate. You're interested, but you're not quite ready to commit to a whole pouch of a product you've never tried. That's completely fair.

If your gut has been unpredictable for some time, or if other shakes have let you down before, a smaller first step makes sense. So we've made one. Our shakes now come as a single-serve sachet, alongside the seven-serve pouch you already know.

Here's why we started with pouches of seven, why so many of you asked for a single serve, and the few simple things a single sachet lets you do.

Β

Why We Started With Pouches of Seven

When we designed the Enlighten Me shake, we didn't decide that format in a boardroom. Our founder, Dr Angela Kwong, is a GP, and the shake was shaped in conversation with her patients. We listened closely to what they actually wanted, and the number of serves came up, time and time again.

People didn't want a single serve every single time. The packaging added up and for anyone using a shake regularly and trying to stay consistent, the buildup of waste felt wrong.

They also didn't want the enormous tubs you see sometimes lining the shelves of a supplement store. Several people told us that those tubs made them feel uneasy. Looking at one, they sometimes felt they'd never get through it, or wished they could sometimes rotate the flavour instead of being locked into a mountain of one.

So seven serves became our sweet spot. Enough to settle into a routine and adjust to the taste, small enough to stay fresh and flexible, and easy to switch between chocolate and vanilla. You can read more about why we put seven serves in one bag if you'd like the fuller story.

Why So Many of You Asked for a Single Serve

The seven-serve pouch works beautifully for a lot of people, but a steady stream of you wrote in, asking for something smaller, and it's easy to understand why.

Our shake is certified FODMAP Friendly. That draws in many people who have struggled with their gut for a very long time. People who have had difficult experiences with other products. People who live with bloating every day, wind, or a change in bowel habit, and who have learned to be quite cautious. When your stomach can turn on you without warning, trying a new protein shake is a genuine leap of faith, especially one with a long list of ingredients, fillers, or artificial sweeteners.

Our shake is not made that way. It's free from fillers, free from artificial sweeteners, light in taste, and naturally flavoured. But we understand that reading on the website is not the same as knowing how your own body is going to respond.

One message summed it up well. A mother wrote to us about her daughter, who has lived with IBS since she was very young and can react differently from one day to the next. She was interested in the shake, but as she put it, she would rather sample a product before committing to it, because these things add up. That's a reasonable thing to want. A single-serve low FODMAP sachet is our answer to it: one simple serve, no big commitment.

What a Single Sachet Lets You Do

A single-serve meal replacement sachet is a small thing, but it opens up a few genuinely useful options.

Find your favourite flavour - Buy one sachet of each and taste them properly before deciding. No pouch, no commitment, just chocolate and vanilla side by side.

Do a short tolerance trial - If you're cautious about how your gut will respond, pick up a few sachets and try one for a few days in a row. A simple way to see how you feel before buying more.

Keep one on hand for busy days - The sachets are lightweight and single-serve, so they slip easily into your bag. Handy for travel, long days, or anytime you want something steady within reach.

Why We Created Enlighten Me

Dr Angela kept seeing the same thing in her clinic. Patients working hard on their health, doing everything asked of them, and still stuck with shakes that were too sweet, too chalky, or too hard on a sensitive stomach to finish.

As Dr Angela puts it:

"It was unfortunate, but I was seeing the same problem over and over again: my patients struggling with bloating, gas and gut upset, each time they were trying their best to up their protein intake."

So we built one, doctor-designed and Australian made, with the people who'd actually be drinking it in mind. The single sachet is the newest part of that same idea: meeting people where they are, and making it easier to start.

A Few Questions We're Often Asked

Can I use the sachets to try the shake before buying a pouch? Yes! That's exactly what they're for.

A single sachet allows you to taste a flavour or trial how you feel over a few days, without committing yet to a full pouch.

Are the sachets the same shake as the pouch? Yes. Same formulation. Same certified FODMAP Friendly shake. Just portioned into a single 55g serve.

I have a sensitive gut. How should I start? Everyone is different, so it's worth going at your own pace. Many people like to try one serve a day for a few days and see how they feel. If you have a medical condition or you're under the care of a healthcare team, it's always worth checking in with them too.

Which flavour should I choose? That's the nice thing about single sachets. You don't have to choose blindly. Try chocolate and vanilla and see which one you reach for.

A Closing Thought

Starting something new can be hard, especially when you've had reason to be cautious. It's completely fair to want to try a little before you commit to more. A single sachet is a smaller, easier first step, and sometimes that's all it takes to begin.

If you'd like to try one, you can find the chocolate and vanilla single sachets right here.
