Homemade Chocolate Protein Bar Recipe with the Enlighten Me Shakes
Share
You Asked, We Listened!
Weβve been receiving your requests for a protein bar recipe! While we donβt (yet) have ready-to-go protein bars, weβre excited to share this homemade version that you can whip up in no time.
The benefits? Many commercially available protein bars can be packed with simple sugars used to bind the ingredients together, preservatives to extend shelf life, and artificial sweeteners for taste. By creating your own bars from scratch with natural ingredients, youβll not only enjoy the balanced nutrition of the Enlighten Me Chocolate Shake, but also the textural and nutritional benefits of whole, natural foods like apricots and Brazil nuts.
Β
Why Apricots and Brazil Nuts?
Weβve chosen these ingredients with intention.
Apricots:
Apricots provide natural sweetness without the need for refined sugar. Theyβre also rich in dietary fibre, which supports gut health, and contain antioxidants such as beta-carotene and vitamin C. This combination makes apricots excellent for digestion, immune support, and sustained energy release.
Brazil Nuts:
Brazil nuts are one of the richest natural sources of selenium, a mineral essential for thyroid function, immune health, and antioxidant defence. Just a couple of Brazil nuts a day can meet your selenium needs. They also bring healthy fats and a satisfying crunch, helping your bars feel indulgent while still being nutrient-dense.
Together, these ingredients add depth of flavour, texture, and powerful nutritional benefits that elevate this recipe well beyond your average protein bar.
